Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Acrylics , charcoal, pastels and ink as well as several liquid mediums layered on canvas.
This painting is not supposed to be a clear sharp image. It is a smudged and softened image. It looks great on velvet paper or canvas.
About Jane Biven
I am a resin artist creating contemporary abstract paintings using my original technique. My complex process combines ink and acrylics with epoxy resin. Careful layering and manipulation produce vibrant, energetic paintings with a glass-like finish. Music is my sole inspiration. I always paint to music. I translate the audible to visual, its like I paint what I hear. Lyric and melody become color and form, As I construct a painting like composing a song. My paintings are symphonies of color!
